Mummification has been a practice for thousands of years and evidence of its practices has been discovered across the world. There are those that go beyond the world of humans and domestic animals and reaches in to the depths of the supernatural.

As with any of this subject you have to take it with a pinch (read: 200KG) of salt, it’s down to you what you want to believe but on the logical assumption that these are hoaxes then I am impressed. The care and attention to detail is astounding in as much as it’s creepy.

There are a few self-mummification mummies that Buddhists have done to themselves, these aren’t fake and the process to attaining this feat is extremely hard with the dedication and will that these monks had truly sure there ability to control and withstand such near-impossible tasks.
